Vivienne Westwood

Vivienne Westwood 1941

The above Vivienne Westwood garments show elements of Cavalier characteristics.
From the loose fit trousers, to the fitted jacket drawn in at the waist by a thin featured belt. The loose sleeves are also related to the 17th century dress code.

Both of the following garments feature large full volume necklines, which can be used as a contemporary way to represent the full body created with the large collars of the 1600's
